A revelation for the masses in AABBA. Added to from time time, as the spirit moves me.
Suggested revisions and additions welcome. I do not guarantee I will use them or not heavily edit them but will credit you for the text or inspiration. Name and e-mail address are required fields to post but creativity is always welcomed.

There once was an apostle named John
Whom God a great task set upon
Now John writes this thesis
Which was sent of Jesus
For the angel had said “it’s anon”
1.2
John spoke of the things that he saw
Some of which stuck in his craw
But also Christ holy
With his own testimony
And the things that had come from God’s maw
1.3
There once was a time and it’s now
For you to kneel to these blessed words and bow
For it’s good that you read ’em
But best that you heed ’em
Now heard this proph-cy you’ll avow
1.4
Seven spirits sat forward his throne
And the main spirit tossed out a bone
He comes, was and is
Seven churches were his
“Grace and peace” unto them he’d intone
1.5
Jesus Christ for the faithful has seen
And his love was like needed vaccine
Begotten first of the dead
Many kings but one head
In his blood we are washed and are clean
1.6
For he’s made us to be as a king
And a priest who kneels kissing God’s ring
Dominion and glory
That’s been the whole story
“Amen” all you people now sing
1.7
Lord Jesus Christ comes with a cloud
Seen by the piercers and crowd
Kin of earth fail
And because of him wail
Even so, cry “Amen” loud and proud

The end and the start of this saga
So saith the Lord
Whom through all time has soared
The Almighty Father our Papa
1.9
John once was a brother in Patmos
A visitor sent of the cosmos
A companion in trouble
His patience at double
From God was dictated this prose
1.10
One Sunday John’s high was of Spirit
And God was out seeking a parrot
So with trumpeting voice
God left John little choice
For behind him John could not but hear it

“From the Alpha and Omega to Smyrna
And for Pergamos, Ephesus, Thyatira
Put it down in a book
Sardis and Philly can look
And also show it to Laodicea”
1.12
And hearing the voice speak to he
John turned and once turned looked to see
There were seven glow sticks
Which like gold were affixed
These candlesticks must be the key
1.13
And there stood a grand man in their midst
The Son of man who is this book’s gist
Garments down to his feet
Girdle wrapped round his teat
All in gold he was not to be missed
1.14
His head and his hair were pure white
And these parallels sum it up right
White as wool white as milk
White as snow and the ilk
Plus his eyes flamed with firelight bright
1.15
His feet were of brass quality
A fine brass we would singly agree
Brass all a-glowing
His voice was a-flowing
Like the sound of a vast and deep sea
1.16
In his right hand seven stars were upheld
A two edge’d sword from his mouth was propelled
He was truly a sight
And was rather forthright
For his visage like sunshine compelled
1.17
When I saw him I fell to my knee
Then he laid his right hand upon me
I thought I was dead
But then these words he said
“Fear not, I’m the A to the Z”
1.18
I am he that hath liveth and died
But behold for I’m fully revived
I holdeth two keys
Hell and death, if you please
Evermore, in a word, I’ve survived
1.19
Write of the things thou hast seen
And the things that are, were, and have been
Both of there and hereafter
Of here and thereafter
The future, the past, and between
1.20
Seven star mystery you’ve eyed
And my right hand with lampstands in kind
Seven stars seven angels
Seven lampstands seven steeples
That’s what those sevenses was

2.1
The one with the stars in his hand
Who walks midst candlesticks in sand
Write to church Ephesus
And tell them that Jesus
Says to the angel of their land:
2.1 improved
The one with seven stars in his hand
Who walks amidst candlesticks in sand
Is none other than Jesus
Write to the church Ephesus
Angel and give him this reprimand:
Change ” Ephesus ” to ” Ephesus’ “
2.2
I know your works, your labor, your patience
How you cannot bear those of no conscience
That you have tried them which say
They are apostles, but nay
These false witnesses know only nescience
2.3
With suff’ring you are aquainted
And your patience is untainted
Much activity
Was done for me
Through it all you never fainted
2.4
I have told you once and told you twice
Your patience and hard work are quite nice
It is time to stop the flatter
On to the meat of the matter
You dropped me like a hot knife drops ice
2.5
Remember from what tree your nuts fell
I brought in, I can take out as well
I do not need your church
You’ll be left in the lurch
Repent or quickly be smacked to hell

Time to complete this sandwich nice
One last compliment should suffice
Of Nicolaitanes

The spirit speaks for the churches to hear
If you overcome
You will get a plum
The tree of life in paradise is near

Now takes his attention from church one
And tells a new angel
To pick up his cudgel
And address all church Smyrna bar none

Pretend Jews deserve condemnation
Blasphemy reaps only damnation
Even though life’s a bitch
Remember you are rich
I know your deeds and tribulation
I really wanted to incorporate “synagogue of Satan” so wrote this:
2.9
Pretend Jews live in Satan’s synagogue
And their blasphemy has them in a fog
Even though life’s a bitch
Remember you are rich
Your deeds are known by me, your pedagogue
2.10
Do not fear anything that you must endure
Into jail the devil will cast some though pure
If until death your faith is rife
I will give you a crown of life
It’s only ten days, so it’s no big manure
It’s only for ten days, so no big manure
2.10 refined
Do not fear anything that you must endure
Into jail the devil will cast some though pure
I will give you a crown of life
If until death your faith is rife
It’s only for ten days, so no big manure
2.11
Listen up, all of you with an ear
The spirit speaks for the churches to hear
If you overcome
You will not succumb
The second death will be nothing to fear
